Broadcasting channel KBS bans almost all of the songs in Gaecko's album, "Redingray," which was released on October 16.
On October 22, the evaluation criteria board of KBS have ruled to ban from broadcast, songs in Gaecko's album including the title track, "Rose."
Though the track "Rose" have been subjected for edit, the song was again banned because of the use of brand names, such as Tylenol and Advil, which is seen in the lyrics. Meanwhile, the second title track, "No Makeup," has been approved by KBS.
KBS tgen clarifies, "The parts previously ruled unfit for broadcast were not adjusted before submitting the whole album for evaluation."
The songs included in the ruling of KBS are "Snapper Ending Remix (feat. Dok2)," "Festival Virgin," "Chaser the Rapper Part 2," "Mr. Vengeance Part 2 (feat. Choiza, Hangzoo, Geegooin)," "Silver Sonata (feat. Crush)," "Oh My God (feat. DJ Friz)," "Chaser the Rapper Part 1," "East," "Seoul Blues Part 3 (feat. Choiza, DJ Soulscape, Lee Joo Han of Winterplay)", and "Passout which feat. Bumkey."
The songs were banned because of inappropriate lyrics and mentions in brand names.
Gaecko is a member of the duo, Dynamic Duo together with Choiza. They have been carrying the label Amoeba Culture wherein the duo have been producing their own songs and music.
