Dahee Submits Third Letter of Apology to Lee Byung Hun, Seeks Favourable Arrangement With Actor

Following the first round of trials, it was reported that Dahee has forwarded her third letter of apology to Lee Byung Hun.

The trial for Lee Byung Hun's blackmail complaint against GLAM's Dahee and model Lee Ji Yeon has begun recently. Following the first round of trials, it was reported that Dahee has forwarded her third letter of apology to Lee Byung Hun, hoping to reconcile and find a more favourable judgment in court.

In a news story from TV Report on October 22, a representative from the Seoul Central District Court revealed, "After we went through the first round of trials, Dahee sent her third letter of apology." It was also said that Dahee had submitted two previous letters on October 17 and 21.

Lee Byung Hun's attorney, Cha Dong Un, however has not yet confirmed the receipt of the letter. "What we know for now is that she submitted a letter to the court," Cha Dong Un said. However, Lee Byung Hun's camp said that Dahee's attempt at asking for a reconsideration is hopeless since prior to apologizing she had changed her statements repeatedly to implicate Lee Byung Hun. "We don't understand her actions. It seems that she is submitting a letter of apology to make a positive influence on the trials. We doubt that the court will take this into account," Cha Dong Un said.

According to the representative, Dahee's third letter is allegedly written personally by her. In her letter she expresses how regretful she is of what she has done and is requesting favourable arrangements with Lee Byung Hun. She also made mention that the blackmail was not intentional.

Dahee's attorney was not available for comment when TV Report reached out for their side of the story.

Dahee and Lee Ji Yeon are currently being tried for blackmail after sufficient evidence showed that they indeed tried to extort money from Lee Byung Hun. On Lee Ji Yeon's part, the model is claiming to have had a more intimate relationship with Lee Byung Hun.
