It seems that things are getting better in the Lee Byung Hun-Lee Min Jung household. According to reports, the couple has patched up most of their misunderstandings regarding Lee Byung Hun's blackmail scandal. After staying at her family's house while investigations on the case ensued, Lee Min Jung is expected to return to her newlywed home soon.
In a report by Sports Seoul, it was revealed that Lee Min Jung has been staying at her parents' home after returning from a trip to Paris. This was when Lee Byung Hun's blackmail charges against Dahee and Lee Ji Yeon heated up. Now that things are getting between the couple, Lee Min Jung will return to their home in Gwangju, Gyeonggido.
A source who is close to the couple said, "After the blackmail incident, Lee Min Jung has been reported to have been staying at her parents' house. They were in the midst of various issues. However, they've cleared up misunderstandings at some point. In fact, the recent events have become a chance for their relationship to grow stronger. Lee Byung Hun is expected to resume with his activities, and Lee Min Jung as well is planning to attend to her official schedule."
Another source also said that Lee Byung Hun is almost wrapping up filming for her movie "The Insiders". "[The couple] have had a lot of time to spend together. Lee Min Jung sought peace at her parents' home since reporters have been coming over to her newlywed home when the scandal broke. Once Lee Byung Hun arrives from a business trip in the United States, the couple will reunite," the source said.
The first trial for the blackmail case has occurred, during which Dahee submitted her third letter of apology for Lee Byung Hun. The second hearing for Lee Byung Hun's blackmail case against Lee Ji Yeon and GLAM's Dahee will resume on November 11.
