TaeTiSeo Share Their Reasons For Pursuing Their Dreams of Singing

Girls' Generation's Tiffany came out and personal about her family's opposition against her singing career.

On the October 21 broadcast of OnStyle's "The TaeTiSeo", Girls' Generation's Tiffany came out and personal about her family's opposition against her singing career.

Tiffany shared that when she first came to Korea to train it was against her family's wishes, and thus felt unprepared. "That time I was thinking, 'If I don't [pursue my dreams] now, I will blame my parents forever,' and so I decided that I will go and I will try so that I don't end up putting the blame on my parents. If I can do it, then I'll do it. If I fail, I will personally put my dreams away," the Girls' Generation member said.

"I didn't return home for two years fearing that I might end up wanting to quit or wanting not to go back to Korea," Tiffany said. But despite her parents hesitation, and her feeling of guilt for having disobeyed her parents Tiffany is determined that she's "focused now". And can't be denied that Tiffany found success in her singing career, and that her parents are proud of her now.

Tiffany also shared that she sang to Christina Aguilera's song when she auditioned. She said that Christina Aguilera's song really moved her and comforted her when she first went to Korea.

Keeping up with the topic, Taeyeon and Seohyun talked about why they wanted to become singers as well. Taeyeon shared, "Ever since I was in my first year of junior high, I started to work on [achieving my dream]. I was thinking about what I should do to be happy, and then I realized that I was good at singing and nothing else."

As for Seohyun, she shared that she was inspired by watching BoA and Fin.K.L, S.E.S, and other groups. "I found it amazing how they were able to share their emotions and communicate through music," Seohyun said.
