D.O Shares His Experience In Filming Star-Studded Movie "Cart"

D.O opens up about being a rookie actor and getting help from seniors. EXO member D. O attended the press conference for the film "Cart" on October 22 at the LOTTE Cinema located in Gwangjin District, Seoul.

EXO member D.O attended the press conference for the film "Cart" on October 22 at the LOTTE Cinema located in Gwangjin District, Seoul. Although he has received good comments for his acting skills, D.O candidly talked about his experience with working on his first ever movie.

The rookie actor was expressed his thanks to the cast and the director of "Cart" saying, "When I first received the script for 'Cart', I found a hard time. I don't know much about acting yet, but my seniors and the director guided me well. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who gave me this opportunity."

Although he doesn't have much under his title yet, D.O performed in the midst of a stellar, star-studded cast. When asked if he was ever overwhelmed by this fact, D.O said, "When I first started filming, I got really nervous because of the idea that I was working with these great actors. But because they took good care of me, gave me guidance, and occasionally stayed by my side, I was able to get through filming the movie in comfort. And I had a lot of fun."

In this movie, D.O gets into very emotional and dramatic scenes. In one particular part, D.O is even slapped by Kim Hee Won on which he commented that it was very painful for him, but it was harder for the person who slapped him. "It was a really great experience," D.O said in "EXO 90:2014".

"Cart" revolves around the story of a single mother who works at a huge store. She later gets laid off from work for wrong reasons and so she decides to fight for her right. D.O. plays the son who, although he seems rather aloof at first, develops a closer relationship with his mother as they both struggle with her unemployment.
