Is MC Mong's "Did You Miss Me?" Track Meant to Provoke the Public?

After his long hiatus following his scandal with the military, rap legend MC Mong is back to conquer the limelight and serve fresh new music for his much-awaited debut.

MC Mong's upcoming 6th full length album "Miss Me or Diss Me" will contain 13 songs. The album is very memorable for MC Mong because this does not only mark his grand return to the music industry, but through this album many artists came out to lend him support. Among his many supportive colleagues, some even agreed to appear as featured artists in the album including Sistar's Hyorin, Ailee, Baek Ji Young, Heo Gak, Lyn, Girl's Day's Minah, and veteran singer Lee Sun Hee. With this powerhouse listing, MC Mong's album will certainly be something new to the ears.

According to a representative from his agency, all the songs on the MC Mong's album was personally written by him. The songs are reportedly about "longing, hope, and love curated from stories during his 5-year hiatus."

MC Mong will be promoting with the title track "Did You Miss Me?" Even before MC Mong could hit the stage again, the rapper is already being hit by issues. Because of the album's cover art, along with the title as well, many are speculating that the song could be provocative and a means to challenge the public.

However, MC Mong's label responded to this rumor by saying that such is not the case. "The title actually means yearning for someone and feeling emotions," the rep said.

The rep added that the song is not at all provocative. "It shows a strong feeling of missing someone you love and then hating them for leaving and saying goodbye," the rep explained.

The song will also feature the vocals of Jinsil from Mad Soul Child.

MC Mong's "Miss Me or Diss Me" album will be out on November 3.
