Former EXO member Luhan will soon return to the public eye for the first time since he filed his contract nullification lawsuit against SM Entertainment. CJ E&M Entertainment confirmed that Luhan will be attending the press conference for his upcoming movie "Miss Granny".
Luhan is all set to attend the press conference for the upcoming film "Miss Granny" which he began filming in June and completed in summer, just shortly prior to his departure from SM Entertainment.
In "Miss Granny" Luhan plays the role of granny grandson whose love for music is eternal. It is the same role B1A4's Jinyoung portrayed in the Korean version of "Miss Granny".
Luhan's "Miss Granny" movie is a remake of a movie of the same name which was released not too long ago in January 2014. The January 2014 version was directed by Hang Dong Hyuk and starred Na Moon Hee as the granny, Shim Eun Kyung, and B1A4's Jinyoung whose role is the one Luhan is playing. The first "Miss Granny" release became such a huge hit and very nearly toppled the worldwide phenomenal hit "Frozen".
Because of the movie's success, CJ E&M was inspired to produce the Chinese version of the movie together with Beijing Century Media. The movie will be released with a slightly different title-"Twenty Once Again - Miss Granny".
This time, the movie is taken under Director Cheng Zheng Dao's guidance. Luhan will star opposite Yang Zi Shan, Gui Ya Lei, Bolin Chen, and more.
The press conference for "Twenty Once Again - Miss Granny" be held on November 2, while the movie is expected to be released early in 2015.
This comes as great news to fans that have not heard new updates about the now estranged EXO member. Luhan has not been publicly spotted since he left SM Entertainment. However, a photo posted on his friend's SNS suggests that Luhan is back at home in China.
