JYJ Member Yoochun Gets an Award for his Exemplary Acting

Yoochun gets an award for his superb acting in his previous dramas and for his big screen debut, "Sea Frog."

JYJ's Yoochun has received an award for his exemplary acting in what has been considered his big screen debut, "Sea Frog."

Yoochun has been chosen as the winner of the "Best New Male Actor" prize by the Korean Film Critics Association for the "34th Korean Film Critics Association Awards" on November 3. There will be an awards ceremony held on November 13.

The reviwers seemed to be impressed in Yoochun's progress as a movie actor, knowing it his first time in the big screen. He has been casted in TV dramas titled, "Rooftop Prince" and "Miss Ripley," which has also marked his superb acting.

Yoochun has been accompanied with a strong cast for "Sea Fog" such as Kim Yu Seok and Kim Sang Ho, making it prove how Yoochun has kept up with these great actors.

Yoochun is not new to drama awards as he received in his acting debut the so-called "Grand Slam" by winning trophies from each of South Korea's three major television channels, SBS, MBC, and KBS, proving how good he is in acting.

Also, in February 2013, Yoochun has been invited to attend Hunan Television top ratings Chinese Lantern Festival of Joy. He was the only Korean artist that being invited to the show due to his extreme popularity in China.

Meanwhile, "Sea Fog" has been nominated at the Academy Awards for "Best Foreign Language Film."
