TVXQ has been sweeping Japan by storm, as they again make a record-breaking achievement.
On November 11, the group's agency, SM Entertainment announced, "TVXQ’s latest Japanese single 'Time Works Wonders' has sold 107,000 copies in its first week."
TVXQ has been reported to have sold over 4,088,000 singles in Japan, outnumbering Agnes Chan, a singer from Hong Kong, who was previously holding the record with 4,010,000 singles sold.
It has been reported by Japan's Oricon charts that upon release of the album, 'Time Works Wonders' on November 5, it has been topping the daily chart, selling more than 4,000 albums by November 9.
TVXQ expressed their delight by saying, "We are so happy and thankful that we set this new record. It’s all thanks to our fans that we are able to do this. We will continue to sing each song with pride and gratitude."
This is not the first time TVXQ has achieved great response in their album, as their previous Japanese album, 'TREE,' has also got so much support as it sold 200,000 sales on the first week of release, making them the first foreign artist to get more than 200,000 sales in three weeks of release.
Meanwhile, TVXQ is set to be performing live in Seoul December 6 and December 7, for their special concert.
