On October 17, while filming for a Shanghai TV program in a restaurant, Clara told her reasons for being in her own reality show.
"'Like a Virgin' is a program that has 24 cameras following me not to just my house but also to where I work out, eat, shop, and more. At first, it was extremely awkward. Because there were so many cameras, I started to act somewhat self-consciously - However, after a month passed, [the cameras] were like friends and I felt empty when they were absent," stated Clara.
She also added, "I had really wanted to try a reality show. There was a certain image that was portrayed through the media and people believed that was all. It was a bit regrettable . I wanted to thoroughly show them my personality. I wanted to show my cheerful self. That is why I am having a happy time now."The Shanghai TV variety program focuses on information about entertainment and is being shown in China to 50 million households. It represents the Korean wave in China.
With a catchy phrase made by the producer, "Interviewing the best Asian stars outside of Korea." He said, "We are proceeding with the world's first live show centering on Hallyu stars who will honestly take part in interviews. Fans from 180 different countries are our targeted audience."
