Hip-hop Musician Bumkey is Suspected to Have Helped in Drug Dealing, Now Under Investigation

Known rapper, Bumkey, age 30, has been under investigation as he is being suspected to have been helping to aid drug dealing.

On December 11, news outlet, Star News reported that\ the Seoul District Public Prosecutors' Office have called in Bumkey in the last week of October. It was said in the early part of October, Bumkey has been caught giving an aquiantance psychotropic drugs and has been called in. An warrant of arrest was issued since the court believed that Bumkey may have destroyed the evidence and got away, but Bumkey have stated his innocence.

A source told Star News, "Among the caught drug offenders, there are several of Bumkey's acquaintances including a music director and doctor... The exchange of money between [Bumkey] and one of them was simply due to a repayment of debt. It wasn't to buy or sell drugs... Bumkey has nothing to do with the recent drug case, and is only receiving suspicion simply because of the fact that they he knows and spent time with them.. Although he was suspected of drug use, as far as I know, the test of his hair and urine came out

His agency, Brand New Music, released their official statement regarding this controversy, "Hello, this is Brand New Music. First off, we are regretful that our agency artist Bumkey has become involved in controversial matters related to drugs and apologize to all the fans. Currently, Bumkey is denying all the accusations, and Brand New Music will reveal everything truthfully through the court process. We plead that fans withhold speculations and please wait.
