SM Entertainment to Open a Multicultural Center called 'SMTOWN @ coexartium'

SM Entertainment is set to open their multicultural center SM Entertainment and known hologram technology expert, Coex is set to open a multicultural complex called SMTOWN @ coexartium.

SM Entertainment and known hologram technology expert, Coex is set to open a multicultural complex called SMTOWN @ coexartium.'

On December 20, a pre-opening was held at the Coex Artium. Guests included were SM Entertainment's CEO, Lee Soo Man, Coex's president Byun Bo Kyung, and representatives from MICE cluster.

Top stars such as EXO, Girls’ Generation, Kang Ta, SHINee, f(x), Red Velvet, Kim Min Jong, Go Ara, Lee Jae Ryong, Yoon Da Hoon, Jung So Min, and Kim Ian were present in the event.

The center is a bridge to learn the vast rise of K-pop. In the SM Studio, fans can meet their favourite SM Entertainment artist through holograms. There also are some hologram shows. Also, SM merchandise can be bought in the SM Library.

On the ribbon-cutting event idols of Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, SHINee’s Minho, EXO’s Kai, and Red Velvet’s Seulgi were seen in the event as hologram.

'SMTOWN@coexartium's opening will be on January 13.
