The world-renowned talents of SM Entertainment gathered once again for this year's round of SMTown concerts.
A few days ago, the SME idols were in Beijing where they performed in front of a massive audience of 70,000 fans! A special video clip, which is now posted on SM Entertainment's official YouTube page, show's some of the show's biggest highlights plus a few clips of the goings-on backstage.
SMTown Beijing was held at the Beijing National Stadium on October 19, where 70,000 excitedly energetic fans danced and sang to their favourite idols. The artist who participated at the event were Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, f(x), TVXQ, BoA, Kangta, Zhang Li Yin. Through a special performance, SME also introduced the newest addition to their roster of stars, twin duo Tasty.
When SMTown had their show in New York, they were hailed the first Asian artists to perform at the ever prestigious Madison Square Garden. Now, history repeats itself as SMTown bags another title as being the first non-Chinese artists to perform at the Beijing National Stadium.
Also named the "Bird's Nest". The Stadium was created for the Beijing Olympics back in 2008 and has since been used for exclusive large-scale events. Super Junior, Girls' Generation, and the rest of the SM family are the first international artists to hold a concert in the largest stadium in China.
