A recent LG Electronics ad didn't sell so well with fans as their latest commercial made reference to Lee Min Ho and Suzy's relationship which has publicly been confirmed true.

LG posted a new photo of their endorser Lee Min Ho on Facebook with the caption, "Who is this man, who captivates people in China and beyond even towards Taiwan and Hong Kong? Shall we shout out his name?" While the caption didn't do any harm, since it is a well-known fact that Lee Min Ho is overly popularly in China, what irritated some fans was the inscription on the phot which read, "LG? Su-G?" the latter sounding like "Suzy".

Netizens didn't take the plot twist so well, commenting that LG shouldn't take advantage of its endorser's private affairs in their commercials. It also worthy of note that Suzy herself does not represent LG as a model so it would be inappropriate to make an ad with reference to her.

An LG representative admitted that the phrase in the ad did in fact relate to Suzy, saying, "After Lee Min Ho renewed his contract in China, we took this opportunity and posted the photo to raise the audience's interest. This wasn't meant to be an official ad. Since Lee Min Ho officially confirmed his relationship with Suzy, we see nothing wrong with making the post [in relation to Suzy]."

Nevertheless, LG has since deleted the post due to negative feedback.
