It's official! Girls' Generation Kwon Yuri is off the market. Following the reports on dating rumors that surfaced yesterday, SM Entertainment has confirmed that Yuri and baseball star Oh Seung Hwan are indeed dating.
According to SM Entertainment, the couple met each other at the end of March during a get-together with mutual friends. "They are currently in the stage of getting to know each other, and they both like each other."
In addition to this, Dispatch also released photos of Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan's dates last year, around the time previous reports speculated the two first got together. In the photos, it is evident that the couple is happily dating and is seeing each other well.
"Although Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan were with other people you can still tell they were a couple. It was nice to see him taking such good care of her," an insider described Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan's date in December.
The exclusive report was first delivered by Sunday News on March 6th. It was said that after Girls' Generation wrapped up their recording session for their Japanese album, Yuri decided to stay five more days in Japan while the other members headed back to Korea. It was speculated that Yuri stayed behind to support Oh Seung Hwan who made his first appearance in Japan's professional baseball league on March 12. Oh Seung Hwan currently plays for Japan's Hanshin Tigers.
Despite the 7-year age gap between Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan, sources say the two are getting along together well and are very fond of each other.
Congratulations Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan!
