A-JAX member Hyeonkon vented out his frustrations online as he shared his thoughts the latest issue about Kim Woo Joo's jail sentence due to military evasion.
It was previously reported that singer Kim Woo Joo has been sentenced to a year in prison for faking a mental illness so that he could avoid enlisting for military training and service which is mandatory for all healthy and agile Korean male citizens. The court found out that the singer had been carefully orchestrating out his planned fake illness for a long time to evade military service, thus he was given the severe 1-year imprisonment as punishment.
On April 28, Kim Woo Joo commented on the matter, saying, "Now there are different cases of [people] evading military service. If a lot of people are trying to avoid it, who else will protect the country? The weather is slowly getting warmer and summer will soon start in May for the military men. To all our soldiers in the military, fighting!"
Hyeonkon had actively served in the military in line with his mandatory service.
A-JAX's Hyeonkon has been getting attention online recent for his very honest SNS posts pertaining to certain issues. He also expressed how upset he was over the death of fellow DSP artist Sojin, who was a member of Baby Kara. Hyeonkeon said he wished more people gave interest and attention to Sojin when she was still alive. That way, her apparent suicide could have been avoided.
Netizens, on the other hand, are commending Hyeonkon for his honesty.
