Bangtan Boys' V Under Fire For Allegedly Mocking Big Bang on "M! Countdown"

Bangtan Boys (BTS) member V is currently being slammed by netizens after seemingly mocking Big Bang in the latest episode of "M! Countdown".

On the show, BTS won the number 1 trophy. As the group was receiving the trophy, fans of Big Bang noticed that V was seen singing Big Bang's track "Loser". This caused much irritation for fans as it came of as a shady move to mock Big Bang. VIPs voiced out comments such as "Aren't artists supposed to sing their own songs when they win first place? Even though he respects Big Bang, why is he singing 'Loser' as he accepts the trophy?"

EXID fans also jumped in and expressed their disappointment at V's distasteful behavior, especially since BTS defeated EXID on that episode.

It seems, however, that V has heard what viewers had to say about his actions in "M! Countdown". Through BTS' official Twitter account, V said, "I listen to three songs every day before I go to sleep. I sing it every day because it's [a good song]. It must have formed into a habit that when we [on 'M! Countdown'] I sang it out of nowhere because I was so happy. I love you [Big Bang]! You guys are incredibly cool!" His message appears to be a response to allegations that he was making fun of Big Bang.

This issue added more fuel to the fire that BTS is already in after the group was accused of buying large quantities of their own album "The Best Moment of My Life, Pt. 1" to give their sales counts enough push to put them on the top spot of album charts. According to netizens it is unlikely for BTS to overtake Big Bang on the charts especially with the massive attention the senior group is receiving for their much-awaited comeback and double title tracks. Fans claim that Big Bang has been robbed of their rightful place at the top of album sales rankings.
