Do you miss seeing Jo In Sung in the big screen? It's time to celebrate because it was recently reported that the actor is in the talks to star in the upcoming Korean movie "The King".
According to a recent report from The Fact, Jo In Sung's agency IOK Company revealed through a phone interview that Jo In Sung is set to star in the upcoming movie "The King". "Although we haven't finalized his contract yet, his casting has been confirmed," the agency representative said.
Although there has been no further details regarding Jo In Sung's role in "The King", it is suspected that the actor will take on the male lead for the movie. This will then be Jo In Sung's first movie in seven years. His last starring production was "A Frozen Flower" in 2008, a period movie that also starred Song Ji Hyo, Joo Jin Mo, and Song Joong Ki.
Despite not having appeared in movies in the last 7 years, Jo In Sung remained active in the drama series department, having starred in hit shows such as "That Winter, The Wind Blows" and "It's Okay, That's Love". These were his latest project since moving to IOK Company.
Prior to this confirmation from IOK Company, Jo In Sung was rumored to take part in the Korean action film "Trace". The confusion between "Trace" and "The King" was related to the fact that both movies will be directed by Han Jae Rim.
"The King" centers on a prosecutor and his struggles. The movie is expected to complete its casting very soon and will begin filming later this year.
