Multi-talented star Jung Joon Young is currently working with his band as they gear up for their nearing debut. To tease fans even more, it was recently revealed that the band's upcoming title track "OMG" is produced by renowned American producer Brian Howes who has worked with top rock bands Bon Jovi, Daughter, and Nickelback.
On May 21, CJ E&M revealed that Brian Howes is working with Jung Joon Young's band for their debut title track. It was also said that Jung Joon Young's band is the first Asian act Brian Howes has ever collaborated with.
"OMG" was co-written by band member Cho Dae Min and producer Brian Howes. The American producer reportedly was very hands-on in directing the entire production of the track. "OMG" was said to have been recorded in a studio inside Brian Howes' home. Jung Joon Young's band also had another recording session at Paramount Recording Studio in Los Angeles, California. During the recording session, Smashing Pumpkins' Robin Diaz filled in as the drummer. Having recorded in Paramount is a huge deal for the band as many chart-topping and top-selling albums have been created within its walls.
"As this is our first album, we put in a lot of effort into our music since it's the most important part of our album. Working together with some of the world's best musicians for 'OMG' has really helped us achieve the perfect sound," Jung Joon Young's band said.
Looks like Jung Joon Young and his band will debut with world-class music. Are you guys excited?
