Rapper, Primary opens up his side in the current plagiarism controversy relating to the song "I Got C," which he wrote with Park Myung Soo and Dynamic Duo's Gaeko for the "Infinity Challenge Song Festival."
The song was one of the best in the Infinity Challenge songs and had even reached a perfect all-kill, however netizens noticed that the song was identical to well-known Dutch artist Caro Emerald's "Liquid Lunch," bring out the plagiarism controversy.
On November 6, Amoeba Culture, said, Primary's agency stated, "As the actual composer of the song (Liquid Lunch) in the plagiarism controversy said 'It is not plagiarism,' we hope this will no longer be the subject of discussion." They also said, "It is only a genre-related similarity, definitely not plagiarism."
The issue also got big due to Caro Emerald's manager and producer David Schreurs said it in an interview with one news outlet and shared his opinion that Primary had made reference to some of his songs, but did not make any conclusive plagiarism comments.
Primary's camp stated, "We hope that relevant reports and this entire circumstance will come to an end."
