The 4th Korea Brand and Entertainment Expo (KBEE) ended its successful run in London on November 6. The successful event ran from November 4 to 6 and showcased various aspects of Korean culture and arts, including free viewing of Korean TV shows and movies.
The program was hosted and supported by Korea Creative Contents Agency and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The expo was held with the purpose of introducing the Korean economy to overseas market through creative ideas, cultural contents, and information technology. The KBEE is now on its fourth year and since then it's become an efficient forum for cultural and economic exchange between Korea and hosting countries.
During the three-day expo, various programs were launched including an autograph signing event with KBEE's new ambassador 2NE1. Other events included K-pop deejaying activities and the Dance Time and Makeup Experience.
After the event, a representative from CJ E&M affirmed the company's plans following the success of KBEE 2013. "KBEE 2013 was a great opportunity to check the grand potential of K-Culture in Europe. With this as a basis, our company is going to promote more diverse contents to Europe and diffuse the second K-wave fever."
