Sunny, Siwan, and Ryu Seong Ryong Cast as Voice-Overs for "Rio 2"

Idols Sunny and Siwan, and actor Ryu Seong Ryeong has been cast to dub the Korean-language version of the animated film "Rio 2"

Girls Generation's Sunny, ZE:A's Siwan, and actor Ryu Seong Ryong has been confirmed to top bill the voice-over cast of the popular animated film "Rio 2"

Sunny will be the voice of "Jewel" the female Spix macaw who goes on a trip to the Amazon Rainforest with his mate "Blu", the male lead voiced by ZE:A's Siwan, and their three children. Upon the group's arrival in the Amazon, "Jewel" is reunited with his long-lost father, presumably voiced by Ryu Seong Ryong.

In the original English version of "Rio 2" and its prequel "Rio", "Jewel" is voiced by Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables, The Princess Diaries) while "Blu" is voiced by Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland, The Social Network).  

The much-awaited sequel to the box office hit will take viewers from Rio to the amazing Amazon Rainforest where "Jewel" and "Blu" find a group of Spix macaws and once again encounter their old arch nemesis, Nigel the cockatoo.

"Rio 2" will hit theatres in Korea on April 24, 2014. Stay tuned!
