Chrome Entertainment said, "There is an iconic image that the Christmas tree has. So all outfits that imitate the Christmas tree have to follow that iconic image. The various ornaments and the star on the top of the tree is something on everybody's Christmas tree when they think of one. Crayon Pop has been through various hardships starting with their street side performances, and they've finally got a lot of people's love and interest. There's no reason for us to do noise marketing by harming Crayon Pop's image at this important time. It'd just be poisonous."

They also added that the girls will not continue promoting in their Christmas tree outfits, however they will continue with the helmet concept, wherein they were known for in their hit video, "Bar Bar Bar."
