A lot of fans are wondering what Nicole will be up to once she leaves KARA. While it was earlier announced that Nicole will depart for the United States to pursue further studies in music and dance, another rumour has popped up saying that Nicole may also transform into a businesswoman and open her own bakery in Japan.
Japanese weekly magazine Josei Jisin dished the news that revealed Nicole's plans post-KARA. According to the report, "Beginning in February next year Nicole plans to study in the United States for half a year. She already expressed her intentions on pursuing a solo career, so it seems like that would be the reason why she wanted to study abroad. Nicole has been visiting the United States from time to time, but because of her hectic schedule with KARA, she wasn't able to push through with her courses. This would be a good time for Nicole to finally do it."
Aside from Nicole's future path as a solo artist, the singer is also trying her hand at another form of art-baking. "Nicole has a knack for baking bread and cookies. She's been thinking about selling baked goodies for some time now. She's already looking at places in Shibuya [where she would open her bakery]."
It was also revealed that Nicole's mother already owns a Korean restaurant in Nakameguro, Japan.
Despite all these hype over Nicole's next big move after KARA, DSP Media has not confirmed any final decision yet. Even Nicole herself has not revealed her true intentions. Nevertheless, fans are excited for Nicole's future activities yet sad at the same time as her disbandment from KARA looms.
