It seems that YG Entertainment's rookie group, WINNER is not just famous in Korea but also in Japan, drawing 8,000 fans in their first ever official fan meeting.
Fans all lined up since early morning to see WINNER in person during their 'Hello! WINNER' event held which was held in Osaka on December 2. The boys announced each member, expressed their first impressions of Osaka, and of course had time with fans. 300 lucky fans were also chosen by raffle to go and meet the boys up on the stage. And also, a fan meeting wouldn't be complete with the boys showing their dancing and singing skills.
YG representative stated, "WINNER showed off their Japanese skills by singing the Japanese versions of their songs during their opening stage for Big Bang's dome tour. They also naturally answered the MC's questions in Japanese during the event... Although their first event was held in Osaka, the voices of fans who hope for events in Tokyo and other cities in Japan are growing."
