G-Dragon had multiple amazing feats this 2013 and he continues to pile up his achievements as he appears on several year-end lists including Complex Magazine's "50 Best Songs of 2013".
G-Dragon's song, "Niliria", which is off his massive hit album "Coup d'etat", ranked 32nd. The song, which charted highly on music charts upon its release, also features the spitfire rapping skills of Grammy awardee Missy Elliott. The track is a vibrant mix of generic hip hop style and Korean folk music which contributed to its soaring popularity. "Niliria" is the only Korean track on the list.
The song's producer, Teddy, also revealed what inspired him to think up the elements that created up "Niliria". "I know that people in the West are craving for something more ethnic, more natural-kind of like what M.I.A and Timbaland did with their music."
In the meantime, G-Dragon is off in Japan for Big Bang's dome tour and his own Japanese promotions for "Coup d'etat".
