Korean rookie group Bangtan Boys recently received the "Best New Artist" award at the 2013 So-Loved Awards.
The boys, who were not present at the actual event, was informed of their win by Big Hit Entertainment on December 6. Their debut track, "2 Cool 4 Skool" was also awarded "Best Single of the Year".
The "So-Loved Awards" is a yearly ceremony hosted by a German K-pop community called "So-Loved". The event is also supported by the Korea Culture Trade Foundation.
The voting duration was held from December 1 until December 15 on "So-Loved's" official website. This year, a total of 150,000 people cast their votes. The vote s accumulated were from legitimate residents in Europe, which goes to show that Bangtan Boys' popular in the said continent is getting stronger.
Aside from their win at the So-Loved Awards, Bangtan Boys also bagged the "Best New Artist of the Year" at the 2013 Melo Music Awards, further proving that 2013 was indeed a good year for the rookie group.
In the meantime, Bangtan Boys will have a showcase inTokyo, Japan on December 7.
