"Hype Nation" was filmed in Korea in 2010. But when they continued filming in US, there was an investment issues occurred that made the shooting stop. It reported that the producer fooled all the people involved in the movie and ran away. Because of this fraud problem that happened during the production process, the production team changed the title of the movie into "Hype Nation: Hip Hop Hustler".
