After it has been confirmed that Nicole Jung will finally make her exit from KARA on February, fans are showing concern about the singer's future career.

On January 14, DSP Media issued a statement saying, "Nicole's contract with DSP Media will expire by January 16th. The remaining members of KARA will pursue individual acting careers for the first half of the year, and will continue with their group activities in the latter half of the year."

Following this statement, Japanese SNS "2ch" was brewing with discussions about KARA and Nicole.

Japanese fans said, "Korea couldn't cater to Nicole's exceptional dancing skills. She's better off going on her own," "Nicole's departure from KARA will be a big loss for the group," and "There's a big question as to whether or not this will affect KARA's popularity."

Nevertheless, some fans showed excitement over Nicole's future activities, even requesting that she visit Japan. "If Nicole is going solo, she should visit Japan!"
