Jun Ji Hyun Initially Turned Down Her Role On "You Who Came From The Stars"

Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun's tandem on "You Who Came From The Stars" is one of the many reasons the drama series is one of the highest rated this season. However, did you know that Jun Ji Hyun initially turned down the role of Chun Song Yi?

On a recent episode of E Channel's "Courageous Reporters", a reporter revealed, "At first Jun Ji Hyun rejected the casting offer for Chun Song Yi in 'You Who Came From The Stars'. At the time, Jun Ji Hyun has just finished 'Thieves' and 'The Berlin File' and was already receiving movie and drama offers left and right. By the time the casting call for 'You Who Came From The Stars' arrived, she was already preparing to appear in another movie. However, due to scheduling problems for the said movie, Jun Ji Hyun was able to say yes to the drama."

Despite Jun Ji Hyun's busy schedule at the time, the production team didn't give up on getting the actress to star in the drama. As Kim Soo Hyun said, "Jun Ji Hyun is the only person who can pull off the role of Chun Song Yi."
