Magazine Hypebeast Lists G-Dragon in their "Hypebeast Hundred" as One of the Men with Style

BIGBANG's leader and rapper, G-Dragon, has again got into the headlines after he was chosen to be in Hypebeast 100.

Hypebeast, a lifestyle magazine that features the latest in men's fashion, art, design and music. It was launched in January 2005 as a media outlet originally catering towards the world of sneakers and streetwear. Borne out of a frustration in finding aggregated information, the creation of Hypebeast has subsequently created a unified outlet for all the latest and relevant news in the world of men’s fashion.

The magazine stated about the BIGBANG leader, “G-Dragon, an artist who is still relatively unknown musically-speaking. Outside of music, fashion is the area in which G-Dragon – real name Kwon Ji Yong – has received substantial press for his radical manner of dress."

Furthermore, G-Dragon is one of two Koreans who has been selected on the list, being Samsung’s chairman, Lee Kunhee, the second

G-Dragon had issued a statement showing his appreciation in the magazine who has picked him by saying on his Instagram account. “Thank you hypebeast it’s an honor#hypebeast100 #blessed,” G-Dragon wrote on January 23 along with a screenshot of Hypebeast’s article.
