Rainbow's sub-unit, Rainbow Blaxx have had their successful run in the music shows however, they have decided to change their choreography.
The girls' concept was going into a sexy dance with a floor movements, but due to the level of appropriateness that has drawn concern, they have come into a conclusion to edit the choreography. Other girl groups who showed a sexy concept like Dal Shabet and AOA have also followed the same course with adjustments.
A representative of DSP Media said, "Although the choreography had a minor modification, there is no change to Rainbow BLAXX's sexy concept. As much as it is a stage that the members planned and prepared for a long time, we hope that a lot of people enjoy it."
With the surrounding the 19+ rated choreography and stage outfits, which seems to have become a trend among girl groups, a 'Music Bank' staff told Star News on January 24, "Starting with the live broadcast of 'Music Bank' on the 24th, Rainbow BLAXX, Dal Shabet, AOA, Girl's Day, and more will perform on stage with a modified version of their mature choreography and stage outfits."
"These girl groups are becoming embroiled in controversy for the sexual nature of their stage outfits and choreography. According to the requests of the KBS viewers, we have decided to minimize the sexuality of the girl groups... Through the pre-recording, the choreography and outfits are being modified. The 'split-leg dance' and 'groping' choreography will be modified and then aired... The unmodified parts during the live broadcast will not appear on camera and will instead give a close-up of the artists' faces."
