B.A.P's Yongguk Bags Nomination At the 6th Shorty Awards

B.A.P's Bang Yongguk has been nominated for the "Charity" category at the upcoming Shorty Award.

TS Entertainment recently announced that B.A.P's Bang Yongguk has been nominated for the "Charity" category at the upcoming Shorty Award.

Bang Yongguk has been actively using social media not just to interact with fans but to spread awareness about global charity advocacies, one of which is B.A.P's donation of a water pump in Africa as part of their first anniversary celebrations.

To comment about his nomination, Yongguk said, "We want to show to our fans that we're not just celebrities, but we're role models as well."

The Shorty Awards gives recognition to personalities and organizations that best optimized the use of short form communication tools.

For the "Charity" category, B.A.P's Yongguk will be going head to head with Hollywood actors Selena Gomez, Tom Hiddleston, and other personalities.

Voting for the 6^th Annual Short Awards will end on February 18 and the awards ceremony will be held on April 7 in New York. Fans can also view the show through live broadcasts.

In the meantime, B.A.P is gearing up for their comeback and first full-length album "First Sensibility" which will drop on February 3.
