Yang Hyun Suk Announces YG's New Girl Group Will Not Debut With A Sexy Concept

With a lot of today's girl group's showcasing sexy concepts, YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk announced that the agency's up and coming girl group will not be joining in on the trend.

With a lot of today's girl group's showcasing sexy concepts, YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk announced that the agency's up and coming girl group will not be joining in on the trend.

Yang Hyun Suk has previously revealed that the YG will be debuting four new groups this year, including a girl group whose members have been introduced just recently.

Backstage on Big Bang's concert in Seoul, the YG CEO discussed about the anticipated new girl group. "Four groups are scheduled to debut in 2014. As for YG's new girl group, the members have been confirmed. Our goal is to have them debut during the first half of the year."

"This rookie girl group will not debut with the typical kind of visuals that would attract soldiers. But to me, [the members] are all pretty. What is certain is that they will not be staging a sexy concept."

"The same way Seo Taiji, Boys, and Big Bang are unique, the new girl group will exude a different charm-different from what we've seen with this generations girl groups such as Girls' Generation and 2NE1. Nevertheless, I hope that YG's new girl group will succeed the same way those renowned groups have."

YG's plans for the year are definitely the talk of the town and fans cannot way for the new groups to make their debut.
