We bet a lot of theorist have said "I told you so," in relation to 2NE1's prophesized delayed comeback.
YG Entertainment that the release of 2NE1's upcoming album "CRUSH" will be pushed back to a later date. On a posting on the YG Life blog, the agency said,"
"We have urgently postponed 2NE1's 2nd album release date from 12am of February 24 to 12am of February 26. However, the physical copies of the album will be released on March 7 as planned. The reason for this delay is to set the date of release on a more meaningful day. CL's birthday falls on the 26th. And since she composed and wrote three songs for the first time on the album, we have decided that this day is most fitting. We ask your generosity for understanding the change."
So it may not be as most netizens theorised that 2NE1 should delay to go head-to-head with Girls' Generation's comeback, but that was close.
Other than revealing the final date of release, two of the songs on the album was also revealed through the blog post. The first song is "Come Back Home", an R&B-reggae track produced by Teddy. The second is the fast-paced track, "Gotta Be You", by TEDDY and PK.
Yang Hyun Suk also revealed that two versions of the "Come Back Home" music video will be unveiled on the 28th.
