Four-member YG girl group 2NE1 finally came out to talk about their upcoming world tour "AON" and album "CRUSH". At their February 20 press conference at the Ilsan KINTEX, the girls opened up about their highly-anticipated comeback and looming head-to-head competition with Girls Generation.

At the press conference, the girls explained that "All or Nothing" wasn't just a title they picked out of nowhere. They said, "We've been in this for 6 years now, and this time we're having a concert and we're releasing our second album. We want to showcase everything we've got, thus we chose 'AON'."

As for their comeback schedule which coincides with that of Girls' Generation, Dara commented, "I have high expectations because it's been a really long time since we promoted together. When it comes to our music, we have different styles." Minzy also said, "We're also preparing for another album. I hope that goes well, too."

Park Bom also said that they don't feel any sense of rivalry. They're just looking forward to Girls' Generation's comeback.

As for CL, the leader said, "This is our first studio album in four years. Coincidentally, it turns out that Girls' Generation will be promoting around the same time as well. But rather than seeing this as a competition, [I'll just focus on the music]. Please have high expectations for our music."

However, when asked about their comeback schedule, 2NE1 admitted that at first they were worried about it. "We worried about it a lot. Honestly, we wanted to release the album when we were already satisfied about it, which is why it kept getting pushed back. We decided the album should come out before the world tour, that's why we chose this date."

As previously reported, CL composed three of the songs on the album and wrote lyrics for five of the songs. Dara revealed, "The three songs she composed were very different and fresh.  What was more, when I was recording 'Crush,' I felt like it was the first time in six years that my voice really came out."  Minzy commented, "I was really surprised by CL's creativity. They are very cool songs."

As to Yang Hyun Suk's decision to postpone the album release to CL's birthday, the leader said, "I was really touched by his special gesture. Honestly, none of the three songs I composed were made to be included in the album. I didn't even know I'd be able to sing them with 2NE1. It was a great opportunity, so I'm thankful."

With this, everyone has become all the more excited for 2NE1's comeback.
