T-ara's Hyomin is scheduled to walk red carpet at the 26th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) for her Japanese film, "Jinx."
According to Core Contents Media, Hyomin's film was invited for a special screening at the festival, which will run from October 17-25. Hyomin was invited to represent the film as a lead actress on the red carpet.
In the film, Hyomin plays the role of Ji Ho, a Korean college student who studies abroad in Japan and make friends with two Japanese students played by Kurumi Shimizu and Kento Yamazaki. She notices the growing feelings between her Japanese classmates and tries to help them along.
Hyomin's acting career started when she was casted in a musical production, "I Really Really Like You," in 2009. She also was included in the cast of the drama, "My Girlfriend is A Gumiho" and made her big screen debut in 2011 for the film, "Gisaeng Ryung." She again was casted to be a gumiho for the MBC's sitcom, "The Thousandth Man" in 2011.
Hyomin is also featured in the magazine CeCi for the October issue. She and her co-members are currently busy for the upcoming release of their album, "No.9," which is their comeback in the Korean music industry after a year.
