YG Entertainment Uploads Edited Version of CL's Live Performance of "MTBD"

Following the controversy, YG Entertainment has released an edited version of CL's live performance of "MTBD" on YouTube.

Following the heated issue involving CL's solo track "MTBD", YG Entertainment has responded the request of the Korean Muslim Federation and has taken down the live performance of CL's "MTBD" on YouTube and has since then been replaced with an edited version

Last week, CL's "MTBD" sparked the ire of the Muslim community after the track was found to contain a melody that sounded like a reading of a verse from the Quran. The Korean Muslim Federation issued an official petition to request YG Entertainment to edit out the controversial content in respect of the sacred Quran.

In the meantime, 2NE1 is actively promoting their second full-length album "Crush".
