Girl groups, Girl's Day, Dal Shabet, and TINT is set to stand before the crowd in Myanmar for the first ever K-pop concert in the country.
Myanmar's MWD TV station invited the groups to hold a performance at the Thuwana National Stadium at the 'First Korea-Myanmar Friendship Kpop Concert'.
Though Myanmar had a 'K-pop Cover Dance Festival' last June, there were no K-pop artists who came over to perform. At last on April 30, Girl's Day, Dal Shabet, and TINT will be feeding K-pop over to the eager fans. That's not all, Myanmar's popular celebrities will also be standing on stage, and profits from the concert will be donated to children in need.
The host of the concert stated, "Myanmar and Korea have had a lot of stories [together] since the past. K-pop has just begun to spread in Myanmar, but it's spreading fast. With this concert, we hope that more K-pop singers will come to Myanmar to spread Hallyu."
