YouTube gives three awards to three YG Entertainment's artists for having popular channels. The most famous channels are from PSY, BIGBANG and 2NE1.

September 25 in Hannamdong, Seoul, where YouTube pulse event was held, the three artists gets the "YouTube Partner Gold Play" award for being the leader in the social networking sites as a public relation tool.

Meanwhile, the "Gold Play" award is given to the channels that own more than one million followers. At the moment, PSY has the most number of subscribers with 6 million, next is BIGBANG with 2 million and 2NE1 with 1.7 million, for a total of 12 million subscribers, if all the three channels were added up and is very astonishing for other entertainment agencies.

A survey organization said that YG Entertainment is very active with SNS channels, such as YouTube and Facebook. According to the source, the top 5 of the most powerful celebrities in Facebook all belongs to YG.

One example of a powerful YG artist is G-Dragon, who is especially selected as most powerful K-POP star on Twitter and China's biggest social networking site, Weibo. On the day he opened up an account on Weibo, G-Dragon drew nearly 300,000 followers in just one day.
