BIGBANG’s music video for "Fantastic Baby” gets 100 million views on YouTube as of March 27, which is two years after release in 2012.
This just means that BIGBANG is the first male Korean group to break the 100 million barrier, which follows their fellow label artist, PSY (“Gentleman” and “Gangnam Style”) and Girls’ Generation (“Gee”).
“Fantastic Baby” is an up-beat track off BIGBANG’s fifth mini-album, “Alive,” with a strong beat, addicting Melody and great choreography. There is no explanation why that the song is still popular today.
Besides from “Fantastic Baby,” 16 songs' music video have reached more than 10 million views, with three of the 16 crossing 30 million views (“Blue,” “Tonight,” and “Haru Haru”).
BIGBANG's 2013 focused on individual activities and on their Japanese Dome Tour, and it seems that they will be just as busy this year. T.O.P is currently filming the movie “Tazza 2” and Seungri will be taking on a role in SBS drama “Angel Eyes.” Daesung is gearing up for his Japanese Arena Tour which will start in June, while Taeyang is in the middle of his solo album. While, G-Dragon is probably working on BIGBANG’s upcoming album.
BIGBANG announced that they will be making a comeback this summer. It will be two years since their last release in 2012, “Alive.”
