Despite the controversies that shook the group early this year, KARA member Seungyeon reassured fans that the group will continue to promote together and will stage a comeback this year.
Han Seungyeon recently attended the press conference for the MBC drama series "Jang Bo Ri is Here", held on April 1 at the Banyan Tree Club and Spa in Jangchung-dong. At the press con, Seungyeon said, "I will be working hard to perform on stage as soon as possible," hinting at a KARA comeback.
Early this year, KARA received a massive blow when former members Kang Jiyoung and Nicole Jung made their exit from the group. Following their departure, fans and critics grew more concerned about the group and their future activities. However, while the group and the agency reveals plans of reorganizing KARA, the remaining members continue being active with individual projects.
Seungyeon confirmed DSP Media's previous promise of a KARA comeback. "We're working really hard to ensure KARA's comeback this year."
In the meantime, Han Seungyeon has been cast in "Jang Bo Ri is Here", where she will play Ka Eul, the spoiled and naïve daughter of CEO Lee. She previously appeared in the mini drama "Girls, Comic, Shoes".
