2NE1's Park Bom Reveals She Had to Audition Not Just Once for YG Entertainment

Park Bom is now a successful member of 2NE1 but it was not just done overnight 2NE1′s Park Bom revealed that she had to try at YG Entertainment a lot of times in three years before she started with 2NE1.

2NE1′s Park Bom revealed that she had to try at YG Entertainment a lot of times in three years before she started with 2NE1.

2NE1 had guested on MBC’s radio show “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon” on their April 3rd episode where they talked about a lot of  topics, which includes the audition before they joined YG Entertainment.

Kim Shin Young asked, “Who failed the audition the most?” which was answered by Park Bom: “I was rejected many times by YG. I think I took the audition almost every month in three years. I didn’t audition in other agency”.

“I sang Christina Aguilera’s ‘I Turn To You’ in my first audition,” she continued, however, she refused to sing it again because she forgot the lyrics.

Park Bom also revealed that she felt bad at Yang Hyun Suk for turning her down at that time. However, she believed that she will be successful when she finally got accepted. Because of her confidence and hard work, she is now a member of 2NE1.
