Jay Park recently unveiled the cover art for his upcoming digital single "Metronome", which will be his first official release in 9 months since he released his last album, "I Like 2 Party".
"Metronome" is part of TASTEmakers' new project, and is inspired by various art forms including music, fashion, and video graphics. The song is a metaphor representing a couple's relationship and its similarity to a metronome, a musical device that measures beats per seconds. The cover art expresses how the couple in the song is having a relationship with an off-beat.
Jay Park worked once again with Director Jinuya, who previously directed his music videos for "JOAH" and "I Like 2 Party". AOMG's Simon D and GRAY will be featured in the song and music video.
A representative of AOMG said, "Jay Park's rapping and vocal meshed flawlessly with Simon D and GRAY. ['Metronome'] will represent AOMG's unique color."
"Metronome" will come out on April 11 at 12noon KST.
