K-pop icon BoA shared her thoughts on her big Hollywood debut with the movie "Make Your Move".

BoA recently attended a showcase for the film on April 11. At the event, BoA shared, "I was curious as to how I was cast in this movie. It was me and my partner Derek Hough's first time acting. I'm sure they might have been worried and anxious, but I think they liked how hard we worked."

The singer also revealed that she was apprehensive at first about starring as the movie's lead. "It'd be a lie to say I wasn't worried. In particular, Derek speaks English well. He's really good. He spoke really fast and did ad-libs, so I was caught off-guard."

BoA's movie "Make Your Move" has been getting a lot of attention internationally. It has even exceed 6 million USD in sales even before its US and Korean premiere. The movie's soundtrack also showcases original tracks from Korean artists such as Girls' Generation, TVXQ, and f(x). With this fusion of Hollywood and Hallyu talents, there is now a growing anticipation for the movie.

"Make Your Move" will premiere on April 17 in South Korea and April 18 in the US.
