Production Company of 'Inspiring Generation' and Actors are in Talks of 50% Pay Cut

The recent drama gets in more controversy. KBS 2TV's recent drama 'Generation of Youth' is in more controversy with regards to a supposed pay cut for the actors.

KBS 2TV's recent drama 'Generation of Youth' is in more controversy with regards to a supposed pay cut for the actors. At last, on April 17, the production company, Ray&mo told news outlet, OSEN that they did not ask a pay cut, but are in talks with the actors with regards to this situation.

A representative stated, "We sent the actors a document regarding the 50% modified payment as their appearance fee. This was not a one-sided demand for cutbacks, but rather both the production company and actors are in discussion."

They added, "One place did accept the offer, so we are paying orderly to that side first. The production company is also arranging finances for the side that has not yet reached an agreement, so we plan on continuing that to pay the appearance fees."
