JungGiGo swept the charts when he released his track "Some". However, he probably never would have done it without the participation with SISTAR member Soyou, with whom he recorded and performed with on the song. After showing a winning chemistry all throughout their promotional activities for "Some", fans can't help but wonder if there are "some" sparks of brewing between the two singers.

During the May 8th installment of MBC's pilot program "Dating Test", JungGiGo took part on the show as a guest and test taker. MC Jun Hyun Moo asked, "You are on the top these days. How old are you?" to which JungGiGo replied, "I was born in 1980, so that makes me 35 years old," shocking everyone with how young he look compared to his actual age.

The singer was asked, "Don't you have 'some' [short for 'something'] going on with Soyu?" JungGiGo finally put a rest to all the dating rumors once and for all, saying, "People have misunderstood, but it's not like that. It seemed like she was mine, but she really wasn't," making a reference to the lyrics of "Some" to deny the never-ending rumours.

JungGiGo and SISTAR's Soyou released "Some" on February 7, and went through a successful promotional cycle of six weeks. The duet topped multiple charts, and snagged trophies week after week on music shows. Throughout their run, they toppled even the toughest contenders including Girls' Generation (which made a comeback with "Mr. Mr.") and 2NE1 (which made a comeback with "Come Back Home").

Due to their smooth chemistry, it was inevitable for JungGiGo to be linked with his on-screen lady love Soyou.

Just recently, JungGiGo made a comeback with another collaborative track. This time, he enlisted the help of rapper Beenzino for the song "Want U". On the song, Starship X said, "As much as it is a song that highlights the sexy charms of JungGiGo's vocals, we worked hard to show a 'bad boy' homme fatale vibe."

Which version of JungGiGo do you prefer, the romantic crooner or the suave bad boy?
