2NE1 Guests as the First Artist in "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" After a 3-Week Hiatus

The famous YG girl group makes an appearance in "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" 2NE1 appeared on the famous music and talk show “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”, which was aired on May 9 at 12.

2NE1 appeared on the famous music and talk show “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”, which was aired on May 9 at 12.20 a.m. KST. This was the show’s first episode after a three-week hiatus in mourning due to the Sewol ferry tragedy.

The girls sang their latest single “Come Back Home” from their newest album “Crush” and “Missing You”, in acoustic.

Aside from their busy schedule it was stated that had 2NE1 agreed to be guests as show of their concern for the tragedy that caused the death of more than 200 people.

2NE1 leader, CL, whose condition has not been good because of the busy schedule was brought to emergency room while filming as her voice would not come out.

“She gave her best effort despite of her condition”, stated the staff.

Before deciding on the guest the staff got suggested songs from the audience and brought up such themes as:

“Songs that resembles my heart and sympathy”, “Songs that brings you comfort through hard times”, “Songs that cheer up a worn out heart”, and “Song that can makes you stand up again” to build up the title “Small Comfort” for this special episode.

This was a different episode since KBS revealed that this episode was filmed without audience to show their cautiousness and sensitivity in the mourning phase.

Beside from 2NE1, other artist such as Kim Bumsoo, Kim Yoona, Kyo (Lee Gyuho), and JRabbit also performed in the show, having each themes.

Yoo Hee Yeol reveald his newest songs, “Mother of the Sea” which is his expression toward the tragedy of Sewol Ferry.
