Puff Kuo Saddened By Heechul Accidentally Calling Her "Sulli"

Puff Kuo revealed his "WGM" husband Heechul has been frequently calling her by the wrong name.

Super Junior’s Heechul was caught in an “ooops” moment after he was caught calling Puff Kuo (member of Taiwanese girl group Dream Girls) by the wrong name. Heechul accidentally called his virtual wife “Sulli”.

On the May 10 broadcast of MBC’s “We Got Married Global Edition”, the onscreen couple invited a few friends of Heechul over for some sort of housewarming and bridal shower party. On the show, Heechul welcomed his friends miss A’s Jia, INFINITE’s Sunggyu, mixed martial arts athlete Choi Hong Man, singer Son Dambi, and more of his famous friends.

However, throughout the housewarming event, Heechul would accidentally say Sulli every time he called out to Puff Kuo. This made his friends criticise him. After noticing Heechul’s careless behaviour, his friends asked Puff Kuo, “Does he usually call you ‘Sulli’ by accident?” on this, Puff Kuo expressed her piling sadness and frustration by saying, “He frequently calls me by the wrong name since the very beginning.”

Upon hearing this, Heechul explained he did not realize he has been repeating the same mistake, and immediately apologized to his virtual wife.

In one of the individual interviews with the producers, Heechul admitted, “This mistake was something I honestly never noticed before. I must seem like a bad guy because I didn’t know that I’ve been calling my wife by the wrong name the whole time and she remember whenever I slipped. I feel very sorry.”

Meanwhile, Puff Kuo also expressed her sadness, saying, “I can take anything else, but how could he possibly get my name wrong [often]? This is really a problem that would make me angry. He is definitely a ‘bad guy’.”

Heechul is known to be very close friends with f(x) member Sulli, hence the mistake.
