It seems like that EXO Kris’ lawsuit against SM to come may come to an end soon. On June 11 the Seoul Central District Court stated that Kris’ lawsuit for cancellation of his exclusive contract has been forwarded to arbitration this past June 9.
This early arbitration will be taking place before the start of official court appearances. It takes two months for the case to move to the court room after submitting the complaint, and while in the period, with this arbitration, the parties involved will try to have an agreement. If Kris and SM does not have an understanding, the case will go as planned.
It was last May 15 when Kris filed a lawsuit for termination of his contract with SM Entertainment, his representation stated that the agency violated Kris’ basic civil rights and did not listen to his ambitions as an artist.
